Directions to the Rally Site
From the A1 North.
Take junction 47 south bound A59 / York / Knaresborough / Harrogate
At roundabout, take the THIRD exit onto A59
At roundabout, take the SECOND exit onto A658
At roundabout, take the FIRST exit onto A61
Take Right Exit after bridge onto A659 [Otley Road]
Follow Road about 2½ miles
Take Left turn into Black Hill Road
1½ miles New Site on Left.
Note to traders and vehicles towing trailers!!
The road coming up from Arthington “Blackhill Road” is a 20% gradient hill (1:4 /1:5) which in layman’s terms is very steep!.
In previous years we have had to rescue a few vehicles which were unable to negotiate the incline, we would recommend you either use the Harewood route to Leeds or via pool bank if you have any doubts on whether your vehicle will cope.
Coming in on the A65 Burley in Wharfedale (Via Bypass)
At roundabout, take the First Exit ahead onto A660
At roundabout, go Straight ahead following the A660
Road Narrows up to roundabout 2nd exit straight ahead.
At roundabout, take the SECOND exit onto A660
At the Cross Roads Straight ahead
At roundabout, take the FIRST exit onto Kings Road
Turn LEFT at ‘T’ junction
New Site approx 300 yards on Right
From A1 South
South of Wetherby take A659 sign posted Tadcaster / Otley,
Keep in Left lane down slip road, stay in Left lane round roundabout signed Collingham,
2nd roundabout take second exit,
Turn LEFT at ‘T’ Junction heading for Leeds,
After ½mile turn RIGHT onto A659 towards Harewood/Otley, (Old Star Inn)
After 4 miles at ‘T’ junction turn RIGHT onto A61 towards Harrogate for approx 1 mile
Turn LEFT onto A659 [Otley Road]
Follow Road about 2½ miles, look for Grave yard on left in Arthington,
Take Left turn into Black Hill Road (Narrow road, beware heavy goods vehicles use this road)
Follow road for 1½ mile, New Site on Left.
From the south M1 (J42) and East M62 (29)
Keep over into the Left Lanes and Follow the signs for the M1/A1 (M) Link road.
Follow this till you reach the A1 then follow the directions as the A1 South
From West M62
2 options
- Follow M62 to Junction 29 then route as from South M1,
- Take junction 27 towards Leeds and leave at junction 1,
At roundabout take 1st exit A6110 Wortley / Farsley,
2nd roundabout take 2nd exit,
3rd roundabout take 2nd exit follow up &filter onto Stanningley bypass,
After approx 2 miles (Asda on your right) you will come to a roundabout,
Straight over at this one then follow the A6120 Outer ring road.
4th Roundabout turn Left onto Otley Road.
After approx 1mile turn Right into Church lane (X-roads / traffic lights)
Bear left onto Church lane; keep straight on road changes to Eccup Lane,
Approximately 1 mile bear left onto Arthington Road.
New Site Approximately ¾ mile on right.

- The organisers reserve the right to refuse admission.
- If the event is marred by adverse weather conditions no refunds will be given for those not attending, refunds will only be given if the whole event is cancelled prior to taking place and the gates do not open.
- No Mini Motos or Quads are to be used on the rally site, the only Quads allowed will be those of the event organisers working on the site, this is a requirement by our insurers.
- Admission is solely at ticket holder’s own risk.
- We will strive to keep the site secure but East Leeds Lions MCC can not be held liable for any loss of valuables left unattended or damage to property whilst camping at this event.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Persons suspected of carrying illegal or offensive items may be searched at the entrance. Any items, which the organisers consider could be used in an illegal or offensive manner, will be confiscated and the owner removed from the site.
- No flares, fireworks or fires will be allowed on site. (Livestock present in adjoining fields)
- BBQ's are permitted but must be raised off the ground so as not to cause damage to the field, stones are provided at control for this purpose, do not remove stones from the walls.
- Ticket holders consent to their photographs being taken whilst on the rally, which may be later included as part of our website photo gallery and rally photo disc.
- Artist line up and billed attractions may be subject to change.
- All parking at this event is entirely at owner's risk. As a condition of our insurance sleeping in vehicles is strictly prohibited, on site or in car parks.
- Strictly no trading allowed on site without the organizers consent.
- Food and alcohol for personal consumption only may be brought on to the site.
- Do not climb on tables or climb poles within the marquee.
- Be Aware!! of the area used by the foam cannon.
- No illegal substances to be brought on site.
- As a condition of our licence please refrain from bringing glass bottles on site.
- Please do not cause litter – use bins & bags provided.
- Please be aware conditions on the site may become muddy or slippy if adverse weather conditions are in effect.
- I'm sorry but due to the rally regularly being in lambing season the farmer has requested that we do not have any dogs on site.
- Anyone bringing a dog on site will be asked to leave.
- ALL 'BACK PATCH' clubs strictly by prior arrangements only.
